Cea mai mare parte a materialului este diamant, dar pentru ao face imprimabil\u0103 \u0219i dens\u0103, trebuie s\u0103 fie cimentat\u0103 \u00eentr-un material foarte dur, p\u0103str\u00e2nd cele mai importante propriet\u0103\u021bi fizice ale diamantului pur.<\/p>\n<p>Mikael Schuisky, \u0219eful departamentului de cercetare \u0219i dezvoltare din Sandvik Additive Manufacturing spune ca procedeul imprim\u0103 o suspensie format\u0103 din pulbere de diamant \u0219i polimer folosind stereolitografie, proces prin care sunt produse p\u0103r\u021bi complexe, strat cu strat, folosind lumina ultraviolet\u0103.<\/p>\n<p>Acest lucru este urmat de o metod\u0103 de postprocesare proprietar\u0103, optimizat\u0103 pentru a produce propriet\u0103\u021bile exacte ale unui material super dens &#8211; compozit de diamant dur.<\/p>\n<p>Potrivit lui Sandvik, testele pe materialul rezultat au aratat ca acesta are duritate extrem de mare, conductivitate exceptionala a caldurii, avand in acelasi timp o densitate redusa, o expansiune termica foarte buna si o rezistenta excelenta la coroziune.<\/p>\n<p>\u00een\u021belege\u021bi posibilit\u0103\u021bile \u0219i aplica\u021biile pe care acest progres le-ar putea avea &#8220;, a declarat Anders Ohlsson, manager de livrare la Sandvik Additive Manufacturing. &#8220;Privind poten\u021bialul s\u0103u, am \u00eenceput s\u0103 ne \u00eentreb\u0103m ce altceva ar fi posibil din formele complexe de imprimare 3D \u00eentr-un material care este de trei ori mai rigid dec\u00e2t o\u021belul, cu conductivitatea c\u0103ldurii mai mare dec\u00e2t cuprul, expansiunea termic\u0103 apropiat\u0103 de Invar &#8211; \u0219i cu o densitate aproape de aluminiu.<\/p>\n<p>Aceste avantaje ne fac s\u0103 credem c\u0103 ve\u021bi vedea acest compozit de diamant \u00een noi aplica\u021bii industriale avansate, de la piese de uzur\u0103 p\u00e2n\u0103 la programe spa\u021biale, \u00een doar c\u00e2\u021biva ani de acum.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Compozitul de diamant imprimat 3D Sandvik este o adev\u0103rat\u0103 inova\u021bie. Aceasta inseamna ca putem incepe sa folosim diamantul in aplicatii si forme care nu au fost concepute niciodata inainte &#8220;, a adaugat Susanne Norgren, profesor adjunct la Stiinta Materialelor Aplicate la Universitatea Uppsala.
