ERGO-CRIMP was developed for the process-safe crimping of various electrical connectors. The crimping tool has a ratchet mechanism with a blocking device to ensure a consistently high crimping quality and results that can be precisely repeated. The mechanism only opens the tool when the crimping process is complete. In addition, an emergency release has been integrated into the handle, which allows the user to open the crimping tool whenever necessary, e.g. in the event of misuse. Another special feature is the adjustable crimping force, which ensures a high crimping quality thanks to the precise eccentric setting. With the Multi Change System, the crimp modules can be exchanged quickly, as needed. The simple change system, which requires no additional tools, ensures that the modules can be installed and removed fast. The ERGO-CRIMP tool includes three pairs of modules made of high-quality steel. One module is suitable for MC4 connectors with cable cross-sections of 2.5 mm², 4 mm² and 6 mm² (14-10 AWG). Another pair of modules is suitable for insulated wire end ferrules from 0.25-6 mm² (AWG 24-10). The third pair of modules was developed for insulated cable lugs from 0.5-6mm² (AWG 22-10). The three pairs of modules are stored safely and protected from dust in a small plastic box. Additional module pairs are also available as accessories. The 2-component handles ensure non-slip and ergonomically friendly handling for maximum force transmission. The tried-and-tested “ice-crack design” was used, which ensures a comfortable feel. The integrated eyelets on the handles can be used to attach a safety catch.
